Dean Broadhead, CEO
A 25-year marketing veteran, Dean founded the agency in 2001, seeking to serve the increasingly transparent relationship among the markets that connect rural and urban consumers. A writer by trade, Dean recognized the role of digital in driving conversation and engagement, as well as the impact it would have – specifically on food and agriculture. By coupling industry focus and team experience, Dean and his staff have made broadhead the fastest-growing agency in its space over the past decade.
Beth Burgy, President
Beth brings 20+ years of experience to her role as president of broadhead, having spent time at leading agencies including TBWA/Chiat/Day and Martin Williams. A farm girl who has replaced her boots with high heels, Beth shares her passion for agriculture with her clients. Her client experience includes American Cyanamid, Bayer CropScience, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc., Marshfield Clinic/National Farm Medicine Center, Novartis/Syngenta Crop Protection and Pfizer Animal Health.
Marie Jacobson, SVP, Rabbit
Marie has spent her career focused on developing relevant experiences for customers across a broad set of categories. She began working in digital early on, and understands the impact it can have with consumers, as well as how it needs to integrate and support other channels. Marie’s experience working on the corporate side allows her to see across channels and through silos to ensure brands are delivering on their promise. She is driven by creating solutions that have measurable results.
Maija Hoehn, SVP, Director of Engagement
As the head of our Engage Division, Maija Hoehn oversees our earned, paid and owned media engagements, including both our PR and Media groups. Maija is a strategic communications leader committed to using all available data to develop integrated and effective advertising campaigns. Leading the Engage team at broadhead, her day-to-day focus is on media and digital strategy, as well as providing complete measurement of all campaign activities. Working in various industries during her career, Maija has remained committed to developing campaigns that deliver results while maintaining creative integrity and brand integration. In her time at broadhead, Maija has worked with all clients, providing strategic communications thought leadership.
Jeff Tresidder, SVP, Executive Creative Director
Leigh Thiel, SVP, Director of Client Service
Leigh brings 20 years of account management and communications experience to broadhead. She helps teams of different backgrounds come together, share ideas and develop strategic frameworks that address complex business challenges. Work she has led for clients has resulted in multidiscipline, long-term initiatives with traction at the national level all the way down to the local level. Client work has included The Mosaic Company, BASF, Pfizer Animal Health, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica Inc., and Verdesian Life Sciences.
Sarah Zanger, SVP, N401 Studios
As SVP of N401 Studios, Sarah Zanger leds the company's content production division. Zanger’s career began as an early geek of Geek Squad fame, establishing marketing and public relations efforts that supported the company's distinctive brand. She has been at the forefront of the advertising and digital marketing world for two decades, gaining experience at agencies like Fallon, Space150 and most recently KNOCK, inc. Her background includes groundbreaking work for Ameriprise, Best Buy, BMW, Starwood Hotels and Target.
