Chuck Porter, Partner/Chairman
Chuck joined the Crispin Agency in 1988 as Creative Director and Partner after a long career as an award-winning Freelance Copywriter. The agency was renamed Crispin & Porter, and within three years, it doubled in size and became one of the top 15 creative shops in the country. His many years of leadership have helped CP+B earn the honor of Agency of the Decade by AdAge. Chuck has served as judge or jury chairman at the Clios, the Andy Awards, the D&AD Awards in London and Cannes, among others. He is currently Chairman of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and is past co-chairman of Advertising Week in New York – North America’s preeminent communications industry event. In 2014, Chuck was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame. He also serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Boulder Digital Works at the University of Colorado as well as the non-profit Digital Works Institute in New York. Along with Martha Stewart and Michael Dell, he was named one of Inc. Magazine’s “Entrepreneurs We Love.” The Wall Street Journal also featured one of those stippled drawings of him, which made his mother really proud.
Erik Sollenberg, Global CEO
Erik Sollenberg was named CP+B’s Global CEO in August 2017. Erik oversees CP+B’s offices around the world and helps shape the agency’s product development, innovation initiatives and global growth. Erik joined CP+B from renowned Swedish agency Forsman & Bodenfors, where he served as CEO for the last 14 years. F&B has long been recognized for their brilliant and innovative work, creating global campaigns for clients including Volvo, IKEA and Procter & Gamble. Under Erik’s leadership, they have
consistently been in the top tier of international agency rankings, and have won over 100 Lions and six Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions Festival for Creativity. In the last three years, they’ve been recognized by the Gunn Report as the most awarded agency of the year, and they’ve been named Independent Agency of the Year at Cannes, Agency of the Year at The One Show and Agency of the Year at the Art Directors Club.
Linus Karlsson, Global Chief Creative Officer
As Global Chief Creative Officer, Linus Karlsson leads the creative process across CP+B. An award winning and renowned creative leader, Linus has served as Chief Creative Officer of Global Brands at McCann-Erickson, led Chevrolet globally as Creative Chairman of Commonwealth/McCann, and co-founded Mother New York. Most recently, he founded and ran MING Utility and Entertainment Group, a creative company based on design, technology and entertainment, which worked with clients such as IKEA, Polaroid and BMW.
Danielle Whalen, President, CP+B West
Danielle Aldrich is President of CP+B West, where she is responsible for client relationships and business development for the Boulder and Los Angeles offices. During her collective 14 years at CP+B, Danielle has led a diverse group of brands such as AND 1 Lifestyle Brand, TRUTH AntiTobacco, Old Navy, Burger King, Fruit of the Loom, Pearl Izumi and Hotels.com, to name a few. During a brief stint away from CP+B, Danielle also helped launch and grow the US Red Bull business at Kastner and Partners NYC, where she served as account and strategic lead. During her tenure at CP+B, she’s helped the agency win over 300 creative awards and honors, including a Cannes Titanium Grand Prix and a Grand Effie. A self-proclaimed brand junkie, Danielle had the pleasure of working on some of the agency’s most acclaimed and successful campaigns, including The Burger King “Subservient Chicken,” “King,” “Whopper Freakout,” Old Navy “Super Modelquins” and Hotels.com “Captain Obvious.” Danielle currently runs Hotels.com, Fruit of the Loom, Hershey’s and American Airlines.
Kevin Jones, Chief Creative Officer
Kevin Jones leads the Creative Department on all agency accounts, including PayPal, Amazon, Google, NBA 2K, and Jose Cuervo. He joined the agency in 2014 from Wieden+Kennedy, where he spent the majority of the past 20 years running numerous high-profile and complex accounts, including P&G, Target, Nike, Coke, Dodge/Chrysler, and EA. His work has won him back-to back Emmys for the Chrysler Super Bowl spot “Imported from Detroit” and the noted P&G Olympic spot “Best Job,” the most talked about campaign during the London Olympics. He was also nominated for an Emmy for the powerful Clint Eastwood Chrysler spot “It’s Halftime in America.” Jones’ work has been honored with eight Gold Lions at Cannes, The Grand Effie, a Webby People’s Voice award and AICP, The One Show and the Clio Awards. His work is also in the Library of Congress as well as The Museum of Modern Art’s collection.
Ryan Skubic, Managing Director
Ryan Skubic is one of the rare CP+Bers who has spent time in all three of our U.S. offices. Starting in Miami in 2003 as a key driver behind CP+B’s iconic work for MINI, Ryan then went on a westward migration to Boulder and then LA, taking leadership roles on several of the agency’s flagship accounts along the way, including Charles Schwab, Microsoft Windows, Proximo Spirits, PayPal, NBA 2K, Google and Amazon. Now Managing Director of CP+B LA, Ryan applies both his Midwestern work ethic and passion for transformative creative ideas to his role overseeing all aspects of our Los Angeles office. Prior to joining CP+B, Ryan spent four years at Carmichael Lynch working on Harley-Davidson and Gibson Guitars. He spends his spare time chasing his twin boys, seeking out LA’s best street tacos, and serving as an unofficial ambassador for his beloved home state of Minnesota.
Mollie Partesotti, Head of Strategy
Mollie Partesotti joined CP+B in 2016 from TBWA/Media Arts Lab where she was Group Strategy Director across Apple products and services, namely iPhone, iPad and Mac. While working on Apple, she led strategy for global product launches and brand communications efforts spanning more than 20 markets and six global Media Arts Lab offices. Her work on the “Shot on iPhone” campaign was awarded with a Cannes Grand Prix, as well as heavy recognition at the Jay Chiat Awards, Andys and Effies. In addition to the tech sector, Mollie has worked in and led strategy, research and insights across technology, automotive, travel, financial services, CPG, beauty, sports, entertainment, fashion and media, for notable brands such as Apple, Google, ESPN, Nike, Delta Air Lines and Bank of America. Mollie also devotes time to mentoring budding branding and strategy talent at Loyola University’s School of Mass Communication and the VCU Brandcenter, where she received her Master’s Degree
