An entrepreneur at heart, Tony has led MARCA Hispanic since its founding in 2003, following a variety of senior marketing and management positions in the U.S. and Latin America. He firmly believes that Hispanic advertising must not be an afterthought and demands creative excellence and accountability. And that’s just what MARCA delivers with world-class strategic capabilities and provocative creative that drives results for top brands including Dish Latino, H & R Block, Rite Aid, Oster, Payless, TracFone, Infiniti, Moen and others in the U.S. Hispanic market as well as Latin America.

Prior to launching MARCA, Tony was at Ogilvy & Mather where he served as Managing Director for its Latin American regional office in Miami, was General Manager in Venezuela, Director of Client Services in Buenos Aires and held senior account management posts in New York. His past client roster includes American Express, Kraft, Kimberly Clark, Northwest Airlines, Unilever, Seagrams, Shell, Kodak, and Sears. Fluent in English and Spanish with a working knowledge of Portuguese, Tony is driven by a burning desire to develop big ideas for Hispanic initiatives that work in synergy with each client’s general market branding. He’s also driven by a desire to coach and lead – whether it’s his twins in baseball or the next generation of multicultural marketers at MARCA.
Armando Hernandez, Chief Creative Officer
Armando has that rare creative intuition – a gift really. He creates work that so gets under the skin of his targets they can’t get it out of their heads – nor do they want to. His work makes people, nod, smile, laugh, sing, dance and often even cry because it’s so true. And he inspires all his people to do the same. A native of Cuba and long-time Miami resident, his work resonates across cultures and countries.

Armando’s background is unmatched. As SVP/Creative Director at Y&R, he led the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic creative for brands such as Sony, Dell, AT&T, United Airlines, Citibank and KFC. Under his watch, the agency won Best U.S. Hispanic Agency award from FIAP, the most recognized Spanish language award show in the world. At MARCA for more than a decade, he had led work for Infiniti, Moen, NY Life, Dish Latino, PNC, Rite Aid, H&R Block, Oster, Payless and numerous others – driving sales and passion in the U.S. and Latin America. His trophy shelf includes Clios, Cannes Lions, Mobius, New York Festival Awards and more – with the most addition a national Addy for his work for the Florida Coalition against Human Trafficking. Whether it’s a traditional Christmas Eve Cuban pork roast or a message for a leading brand, you can count on Armando to make it authentic and irresistible.
Henry Gomez, Sr. Director of Strategic Planning

It comes from 18 years of guiding brand strategy across a wide range of clients and categories, including H&R Block, Dish Latino, TracFone, and Cooper Tire. His approach has led to consistent industry recognition, most recently a Best of Show for Hispanic account planning. So whether it’s unlocking consumer feelings about financial services, home products, entertainment, telecommunications or just about anything else, Henry will find the answer.
