Ed Herinckx, President
Ed is the high energy power source that's helped make HMH the bright star it is today. From his beginning at HMH as an intern in 1983, Ed's talent and tenacity have taken him on a straight up path to his position as president. Working tirelessly on behalf of clients and co-workers, Ed brings keen marketing insights, solid strategic thinking and high standards to everything HMH creates, embodying the firm's values of integrity, innovation, dedication, teamwork, respect and responsible stewardship. Ed's assembled a team of talented professionals who are committed to delivering great ideas to our clients, in a collaborative environment that welcomes great ideas from anyone.
Greg Campana, General Manager
Greg is a marketing communications executive with over 35 years of advertising, marketing and branding experience. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he earned his BA degree in Mass Communications from Purdue University. His work experience has spanned regional and national advertising agencies including Della Femina (Pittsburgh), Ogilvy & Mather (Atlanta), McKinney (Durham), and Mullen (Winston-Salem). He also honed his branding skills at the “happiest place on earth” overseeing Destination Advertising for Walt Disney World in Orlando. Greg spent 12 years as Partner/EVP with Wray Ward (Charlotte), helping them grow into one of the top marketing communications agencies in the region. Then served as Marketing Director for PhoneTree (now Astrado), an automated messaging technology firm prior to joining HMH Agency.
Denise Hollingsworth, Brand Strategy Director
Denise has more than 25 years of marketing experience, 20 of them in research and account planning for powerhouse brands like Nike, Microsoft and Coca-Cola. Her focus is on understanding consumers, brands and industries and how they affect one another. Denise represents the customer’s voice in the agency, ensuring that the work developed resonates with its intended audiences. Her innate ability to sift through piles of research to find the nuggets of truth that will make a difference in the clients’ business is uncanny.
Shawn Kelley, Executive Creative Director
In the ninth grade, Shawn Kelley was voted Most Trustworthy. And, years later, the title still fits. For more than 20 years, Shawn has worked with, developed and evolved brands for companies including Daimler Trucks North America, AAA, Speed Channel, Owens Corning, Verbatim, PSNC Energy and Cheerwine. A storyteller at heart, Shawn is responsible for leading creative teams, making sure messaging is in the appropriate brand voice and all creative communications are on-strategy and engaging.
Jenn Hausman, Media Director
Jenn Hausman is media director and based in our Charlotte, NC office. Jenn has 16 years of agency experience, both in account service and media. She has leveraged buys in print, radio, television, outdoor, transit, cinema and the internet for both local and national accounts such as Ekornes, Levolor, Pods, NC State University, Ballantyne Spa and Resort, Freightiner Trucks, Detroit Diesel Engines, and more.
Christina Chu, Public Relations Account Supervisor
Christina is a PR maven with more than ten years of experience working in-house and on the agency side of the business. Christina has placed local, state and national media for notable brands such as Marriott, John Deere, Thomas Built Buses, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Charlotte School of Law and Crescent Communities, among others.
Dana Thomas, Digital and Social Strategist
Dana Thomas, Digital and Social Strategist
Dana brings nearly 20 years of experience when it comes to digital strategy. Her wide-ranging experience gives her keen insights on best practices for integrated digital marketing – figuring out how website, social media, digital advertising, user experience and content strategy all work in tandem to deliver the desired results. Her social media experience is much like her real life—always listening, chiming into conversations, being a thought leader, making friends, engaging and ultimately building loyalty and satisfaction. She has built upon her experience with higher education, architectural/engineering/design and customer service on the client-side in order to bring a unique perspective and insight to benefit the agency and their clients.
