Tim Reeves, Principal

A former journalist, Tim was chief communications advisor to Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge from 1995-2001. He oversaw the press and marketing strategies that helped to make the Ridge Administration one of the most successful in Pennsylvania history. Tim joined Neiman in 2001. He became president in 2004, CEO in 2008 and majority owner in 2010. Tim led Neiman’s Philadelphia migration, and along the way helped to craft noteworthy communication and business strategies and won national awards. But his greatest pride is the caliber of people— professionally and personally—who have joined Neiman from across the nation. Tim is honored every day by their personal and professional commitment to Neiman’s quest to build a great national agency. Tim’s unique history makes him a sought-after advisor to prominent executives and public figures, and his confidential strategic business and PR counsel is available on call to Neiman’s clients. Andrew Graff, Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of Boston and Philadelphia-based Allen & Gerritsen, Andrew leads the independent, integrated agency of forward thinkers, story makers, craftspeople and analytical minds. The agency’s conviction is that people power brands, by uncovering and igniting the personal space. A&G was ranked twice by Advertising Age as the nation’s #1 “Best Place to Work in Marketing &; Media.” Its work has been honored recently by the One Show, Jay Chiat, the Mashies, the Shorty Awards, Forrester Groundswell and Adweek Project Isaac Gold Awards.

In 2017, Andrew was named one of the “21 Most Influential People in Boston Business” by Boston Magazine and was also honored as one of the “Top 100 Advertising Leaders in the United States” by Adweek. Andrew has also been recognized as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.

Andrew is a member of the 4A’s Board of Directors. He chairs the organization’s Leadership and Development Committee, and serves on its Government Relations Committee. For the last three years, Andrew has been the program moderator for the 4A’s Management Practitioner Forum. He also serves as an Effie Awards judge.

Giving back is incredibly important to Andrew. He focuses his philanthropic efforts on giving a voice to those who feel as though they are not being heard; for instance, he has championed Mobile Stü, a mobile recording studio that allows young people in inner-city communities to express themselves through music. A&G’s campaign to promote Mobile Stü, #BlackwithBlue, was featured by Fast Company, the Ellen DeGeneres Show and the NBC Nightly News, amongst other national media outlets. And, he’s a fierce advocate for children through his board memberships at organizations including Big Sisters of Greater Boston, the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester and the New England Sports Museum.

Paul Allen, Chairman

Over 25 years ago, Paul Allen began an exciting journey by creating an advertising agency that believed deeply in some fundamental things; that all investments in marketing and communications are strategic business assets and should be treated as such; that agencies get rewarded (and sometimes famous) by helping their clients, not themselves; that great communications emerge from the perfect balance of science and art (aka research and judgment); and that great ideas can come from anyone, anywhere. Today, Paul is the proud parent of one of the country’s leading independent agencies and engaged with some of the brightest minds and exciting clients around. Paul tends to help out with our more complex, business-to-business clients. One of Paul’s core strengths is helping clients make molehills out of mountains. Dan Beder, President

Dan is a strategic marketing leader with an accomplished agency and client-side background. His career is filled with traditional and digital advertising, retail e-commerce, technology platform development, brand building, strategic planning and direct database marketing.

As President of A&G, Dan oversees the day-to-day operations across Boston & Philadelphia. An integrated strategic marketer with data, analytical and digital expertise, Dan has been integral in the agency’s success over the past two years.

Prior to A&G, Dan provided executive-level leadership at premier marketing agencies such as D’Arcy, Modem Media, Digitas, Isobar and Epsilon, with experience working client-side at the e-commerce retailer Smartbargains.com.
Dan is beyond proud of the work he and his teams have developed for some of the world’s most influential companies including General Motors, Citibank, 3Com, AT&T, 3M, Tyco Toys, Compaq, Motorola, adidas, The Home Depot and Proctor & Gamble.

Jen Putnam, CCO

Jen Putnam is an agent for change. As Chief Creative Officer of A&G, she oversees creative across all platforms and connection points, and pushes the teams toward the future of consumer engagement. Jen sees user experience as a mindset, not a department, and comes to work each day determined to lead, drive and mentor her teams toward creative excellence.

Jen most recently led the creative teams at SapientNitro across a range of sectors from financial to B2B to CPG. And previously led creative teams at Digitas, Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett after breaking into the industry at DDB Needham.

She also served as the inaugural SVP/Creative for online e-commerce pioneer Rue La La, a role suited for her given her passion to communicate across contemporary channels – particularly to women – and her visionary leadership style. Through her career Jen has worked with clients from Anheuser Busch to Kellogg’s to Procter & Gamble teen and women’s products. And she has helmed cross-channel work for Olay, IHG and General Motors.

Mike Raetsch, Managing Director

Mike’s marketing career has taken him to New York, Chicago and back to his native Philadelphia.

After spending 15 years in New York and Chicago, Mike returned to his eastern Pennsylvania roots by joining A&G back in 2011.

During his tenure, Mike has helped spearhead the rapid growth and transformation of A&G Philadelphia, helping it to become a leading national independent agency destination. He currently leads the Philadelphia office and is responsible for all of our regional work with B2B and consumer-focused brands.

Mike oversees and runs A&G’s partnerships with brands like Comcast XFINITY, Sunoco, Pittsburgh Makers and Caron Treatment Centers.

Brian Babineau, Chief Strategy & Engagement Officer

Brian helps brands come to life, engaging audiences in the connected world and beyond. He specializes in driving customer engagement through brand strategy, content strategy, influencer partnerships, social activation and strategic partnerships.

Brian has been instrumental in building brands for companies such as Sanofi, Santander Bank, Fidelity Investments, University of Phoenix, Barclaycard, Carnival Cruise Lines, Dartmouth College, Progressive, Jack Daniels, and New Balance. He has also developed fully integrated brand and marketing strategies and experiences for Glidden Paint, Hasbro, Reebok, Hershey’s, IBM, AT&T and Allstate.

Brian has overseen the strategic development of A&G’s client work since 2017, particularly Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, Caron Treatment Centers, Citrix ShareFile, and Sunoco.

Previously, Brian spent 10 years at Digitas, where as VP, Director of Media he led the integration of branded content and social experiences into programs for American Express, InterContinental Hotel Group and Holiday Inn. His work included digital media, technology development, cross-channel integrations, media negotiation, partnership building, and campaign measurement and analysis.
