Whitey Kuhn, Founding Partner, Chief Executive Officer
Whitey is very active in the advertising industry, both locally and nationally. He is a past president of the Ad Club of Kansas City and the Ad Club Foundation. He has also served as chairman of the National AAF Conference.

Whitey was named American Advertising Federation (AAF) Ninth District President of the Year and has also been named Advertising Executive of the Year by the Kansas City Ad Club. He was also a recipient of the AAF Silver Medal Award, recognizing his contribution to the advertising industry. Whitey has a long-standing commitment to philanthropic causes. He currently serves on the board of Boys and Girls Club, and is a past president of Hospice Care of the Visiting Nurses Association. He has also served on the boards of Mid-America Urologic Oncology Institute, Young Audiences, the Educational Development Corporation, and the advisory board of the Stowers Institute for Medical Research.

Whitey has been invited to be the keynote speaker for several presentations on business ethics, including the Cargill Business Ethics Lecture Series at Kansas State University. In fact, Kuhn & Wittenborn was awarded the National Business Ethics award in 2003, an annual honor bestowed by the Society of Financial Services Professionals. Whitey received his bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Kansas.
Julie Robinson, Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Julie is a member of the Kansas City board of governors for the American Association of Advertising Agencies, and she serves as a board member for Powell Gardens, a not-for-profit botanical garden that offers nutrition- education programs for children and families. She has served as a mentor in the Kansas City Ad Club Foundation Scholarship program and has been a featured speaker at the Direct Marketing Association’s DMB Conference.

Julie has served on the Kansas City Chamber Annual Dinner Committee for the past seven years, and was previously honored by the Kansas City Business Journal as a “Woman Who Means Business. She is also an active PTA volunteer in the Shawnee Mission School District, focusing on reading programs and fundraising.

She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri and has been with Kuhn & Wittenborn since 1989.
Dale Wittenborn, Founding Partner
Dale is very active in both community and industry organizations. He was instrumental in leading a team that helped save Kansas City’s historic Union Station. He is past president of the Friends of the Zoo. Dale also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Saint Luke’s Hospital Stroke Committee.

Dale was named Advertising Executive of the Year by the Kansas City Ad Club and was also recognized with an “Up and Comers” award honoring distinguished leaders in Kansas City.
Bill Ost, Chief Creative Officer
With years of creative expertise in the areas of art direction, copywriting and creative management, Bill has amassed a significant repertoire of award-winning work for a variety clients in both business-to-business and consumer areas. Key healthcare clients include: MetLife, USAA, Bayer Animal Health, Pfizer Animal Health, Banfield Pet Hospitals, GEHA, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Shawnee Mission Medical Center, St. Luke’s Hospital and The American Nurses Association.

Bill has a long history with the Kansas City advertising community and is a past president of the local AAF’s Art and Copy Club, as well as a past executive board member and treasurer of AAF/Kansas City. He is also active with the Kansas City Ballet.

Bill enjoys working directly with clients to ensure a thorough understanding of their business and creative goals. He worked at Kuhn & Wittenborn early in his career, then went on to become creative director at Valentine Radford and Bernstein-Rein. We are pleased that he rejoined the Kuhn & Wittenborn team.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design from Missouri State University.
Jayne Doyle, Vice President, Director of Production Services
Jayne has primary responsibility for scheduling, trafficking and estimating all agency projects. She also supervises our print and broadcast production services. She brings to her job the benefits of strong agency experience in accounting and account service, in addition to production. Jayne has worked on virtually all of our accounts, either in a supervisory or hands-on capacity. She takes pride in ensuring that our agency’s work is produced on time and on budget. Jayne joined Kuhn and Wittenborn in 1988 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Missouri.
