Huw Griffith, CEO, North America
With a marketing background, Huw joined Doyle Dane Bernbach in London, went on to spend time at Gold Greenless Trott before moving to Batey Ads Singapore in 1992 to run Singapore Airlines as Worldwide Account Director. Huw set up M&C Saatchi offices in Singapore in July 1995 and Malaysia in 2002, moving to re-establish M&C Saatchi LA in 2003 where he is a founding local partner. Huw now oversees North America.
Kate Bristow, Chief Strategy Officer
Kate started her career in London, working at Saatchi & Saatchi. From 1987 until 1991, she worked for two highly acclaimed creative agencies, and was lured back to Saatchi & Saatchi at the beginning of 1992 as Regional Business Director for Asia, then Director of Strategic Planning. Kate joined M&C Saatchi Singapore as Director of Strategic Planning in March 1996 and moved to M&C Saatchi LA in September 2003.
Martin Dix, Creative Director
Martin joined M&C Saatchi in the summer of 2005 to lead the creative department in LA. Previous to M&C Saatchi, he was the Associate Creative Director at Deutsch LA, leading efforts on Old Navy, Mitsubishi Motors, California Cheese and AIG Sun America. Prior to Deutsch, Martin worked in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago at TBWA Chiat/Day, Ogilvy & Mather, DDB and others on brands as varied as Intel, Audi, Jaguar, Pepsi, IBM and AT&T.
Tom Richards, Group Account Director
After a brief stint in entertainment advertising, Tom joined up with BBDO/West as an account manager on Apple Computers and then Starbucks Coffee Company. After some time he was wooed by Campbell-Ewald West to help launch TiVo and Careerpath.com. He then joined the team at Deutsch LA to grow the then small Expedia.com into the brand it is today. Tom joined M&C Saatchi Los Angeles in April 2004. Tom leads clients such as Crytal Cruises, Tourism Australia, The San Diego Zoo, and Damnayshin.
Jerry Tomaiolo, Director, Business Development
From 1997 to 2003 Jerry helped grow two start-up digital development firms into two of the largest independently-held Interactive agencies in Southern CA – Digitaria and Apollo Interactive- before co-founding his own, MACH18 in 2004. He’s worked with a range of demanding Fortune 1000 clients and major brands throughout his career like Qualcomm, Sony Electronics, Mandalay Resort Group, Johnny Rockets, California Pizza Kitchen, Ryland Homes, Lotus Cars, Santa Barbara CA, Wynn Las Vegas, The Venetian and The Hard Rock Hotel. Jerry’s leadership resulted in the acquisition of MACH18 by The Cimarron Group - a global leader in entertainment marketing. He left The Cimarron Group in mid-2007 to join M&C Saatchi as Business Development Director.
Stephen McCall, Group Account Director
Stephen graduated from Bradford University and Arizona State University in 1997, with a BSc Honors in Business & Management. He began his advertising career at Ogilvy & Mather London working on Kimberly-Clark International. Stephen then joined M&C Saatchi London in January 2001 where he was responsible for US Tourism, British Airways, Privilege Insurance, Somerfield Supermarket and MG Rover cars. He moved to M&C Saatchi LA in July 2005 and is Group Account Director for key accounts such as PETCO, The Getty,
New Mexico Tourism and Qantas.
