Robin Roberts, Founding Partner, CEO
Robin Roberts is the Founder and CEO of National Media Group.

Robin is widely recognized as a leader and pioneer in the political and issue-advocacy media planning and placement arena. He has supervised strategic media research, planning and placement for more than 250 campaigns, including the 2000 and 2004 Bush-Cheney presidential campaigns.

A native of South Carolina, Mr. Roberts holds a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of South
Carolina.
Alex Castellanos, Founding Partner, Chief Strategic Officer
Alex Castellanos is one of the Republican Party’s new generation of TV advertising consultants. Castellanos has served as media consultant to five U.S. Presidential campaigns. He has helped elect eight U.S. Senators, six Governors, and enjoys over two decades of political consulting experience, both in the United States and abroad.

Fortune singled out Castellanos as a “new style media master.” In 2007, GQ Magazine called Castellanos one of the 50 Most Influential People in D.C. Castellanos brings a wealth of campaign strategy, public opinion research and communications experience to corporate communications and public policy campaigns.

A native of Havana, Cuba, Castellanos is fluent in Spanish and English. His parents, refugees who fled Castro’s Cuba in 1961, came to this country with one suitcase, two children and eleven dollars. A Morehead and National Merit Scholar at the University of North Carolina, Castellanos lectures frequently internationally and in the United States, from Harvard University to the United States Army Communication School.
Bruce Haynes, Managing Partner
Bruce Haynes is the managing partner for the public affairs advertising practice at National Media. Haynes is a veteran political and public affairs strategist, designing and executing high profile communications strategies and corporate campaigns for Fortune 50 companies, trade associations, national coalitions and non-profit organizations.

An expert in strategy and message development, Haynes has directed message and advertising efforts to manage the corporate image of a leading pharmaceutical company, and to prevail in a several hundred million dollar business dispute between a major cable network and cable programmer.

He has led efforts to successfully reposition large trade associations, and managed positive legislative outcomes in issue areas such as health care, telecommunications, energy and legal reform. He has conducted message-training workshops for Fortune 50 companies, and advised large federal government agencies on public affairs campaigns. He oversaw the paid media effort for the Citizens for Better Medicare campaign in 2000, the largest issue advocacy campaign of its kind, and his campaigns have won prestigious awards such as the Silver Anvil.

Prior to joining National Media, Haynes served as Chief-of-Staff to South Carolina Congressman Bob Inglis and as staff counsel to two-term South Carolina Governor Carroll Campbell. He has also served as an advisor to many state and local political and public affairs campaigns.

A native of Florence, South Carolina, Haynes attended Furman University and holds a B.S. in Political Science from Francis Marion University and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association.
