Premier Studios evolved from Gerald’ s commitment to provide clients with the full spectrum of available creative solutions — as well as his own love of technology and effective audiovisual communication. Mark is responsible for carrying out the vision and mission of Premier Studios both internally and externally. He provides the daily oversight to keep the organization’s operations in order while focusing on big-picture goals that move Premier Studios forward. With 30-plus years of leadership experience in the communications industry, Mark is adept at building and navigating successful client relationships.

An accomplished speaker, Mark has addressed venues throughout the United States to audiences and organizational leaders on a variety of topics, focusing mainly on consistent messaging, communication, brand identity, authenticity and story. He’s passionate about uncovering the mission behind the mission.

Matt Johnson, Executive Creative Director
A creative visionary and storyteller, Matt crafts strategic communications that connect brands with their audiences. His strong background in all mediums allows him to approach each challenge from a solution-agnostic perspective.

Matt believes brand standards are crucial to maintaining a consistent story throughout your communication continuum, but he knows there are also mediums that require flexibility in message delivery. In today’s highly connective culture, the options for delivering a brand are endless. Social media, consumer-generated content, open media channels and continuous data feeds will all contribute to a holistic plan ... and standards that will ebb and flow as needed. Matt is skilled at guiding these conversations and talented at brokering ideas to create consensus.

Heather Knight, Executive Director, Brand Development
A nine-year veteran of the Kansas City retail agency world, Heather moved to Premier Studios to concentrate fully on the brands she believes in most. To that end, she pursues and cultivates relationships with people and groups that expand the firm’s involvement with missional brands — brands that are making a positive difference in the world. She also leads one of the agency's own missional brands, SUSIE Magazine, a monthly print publication and online community for teen girls.

Heather believes a true agency fit is one of the most exciting things that can happen for both an organization and its agency, and she believes in fostering an open, collaborative environment from the very beginning to ensure transparency throughout the process. Heather is passionate about helping organizations and groups move from “here” to “there,” and she is skilled at reaching consensus and brokering the exchange of ideas along the way.
