Dan Igoe, Managing Partner
A 27-year resident of Denver, many consider Dan a cornerstone of this area’s business community, having worked with many of the region’s leading advertising, marketing and public relations agencies. Dan is the co-founder of Pure Brand Communications. Formed in late 2003, Pure has grown steadily to become one of the leading Denver brand communication firms representing regional and national brands like Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, Cessna Aircraft Company, EnCana Oil & Gas, Brownstein Hyatt Farber & Schrek LLP, and Stetson legendary hats and apparel.

Dan has served a wide variety of consumer and business-to-business clients with his broad-based experience in the areas of strategic planning, research and brand development.

Dan helped guide several brand initiatives including work for the Colorado Tourism Board account when it was named by the travel industry as the most effective tourism organization in North America. Other tourism and travel-related work includes several resorts like Winter Park, Steamboat and Vail Valley, and the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau. Dan led the launch of the nation’s most successful Air Force Base Redevelopment community, Lowry, and helped formulate the brand identities for Englewood City Center and the redevelopment of Stapleton. He also led a variety of communications strategies from technology clients like, IBM and GE Access, to consumer initiatives for Wells Fargo Banks, Breckenridge Brewery and CFAN’s (Citizens For A New Stadium/Broncos).

Dan presently serves on the board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, the Denver Metro Chamber’s Transportation committee, a member of the Colorado Energy Coalition and on the Board of Governors for the Metro Denver EDC. Dan was in the first graduating class (2007) of the National Renewable Energy Labs Leadership program, and is a past chairman for the nation’s number one arts festival, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival.
Gregg Bergan, Partner, Creative Director
A 23-year advertising veteran, Gregg Bergan has spent the bulk of his career in Los Angeles and New York, where he held senior creative positions at agencies that included Saatchi & Saatchi’s Team One, Ogilvy & Mather, Ketchum/LA, Grey subsidiary G2 and Needham Harper Worldwide (now DDB). He has created work to sell everything from Big Macs to tennis racquets and, along the way, has been involved in advertising that genuinely changed the world.

At Ogilvy & Mather, he helped establish Microsoft Corporation, gaining the notice of IBM and leading to the single- largest account consolidation at one shop in history. At Team One, he created work that allowed Lexus to surpass Mercedes Benz as the world’s best-selling luxury nameplate for the first time ever. He returned home to Denver in 2002 and, shortly thereafter, co-founded Pure Brand Communications. Today, Pure serves as agency of record for a prestigious roster of brands that include the American icon, Stetson, and Cessna Aircraft, among others.

Gregg’s work has won numerous industry awards including Communication Arts, One Show, ADDY, NY Art Directors, Obie, Belding, Best in the West, Effie, Lulu and the Fifth Grade Spelling Bee of Woodvale Elementary School.
Mike Lane, Marketing & Public Relations
With more than 35 years of public relations and advertising experience, and an extensive research and planning background, Mike works with a wide variety of clients out of the PURE Cheyenne office.

Prior to joining PURE, Mike was with Barnhart/CMI, the EvansGroup and Broyles/Allebaugh/Davis in Denver and Cheyenne. He owned his own agency from 1980-1992 and served as vice president of Smith, Lansing and Lane from 1973-1980. From 1969-1973, Mike was a vice president of William Kostka & Associates in Denver, Cheyenne and Billings. He has conducted political campaigns in four states for governor and seats in the U.S. Senate and House.

Mike is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.

Jerry Stafford, Senior Designer, Art Director
An avid triathlete, snowboarder and former resident of Jackson Hole and Breckenridge, Jerry brings to the team a keen sense of design and an insider’s view of the adventurer market. He has worked with a number of clients in the outdoor industry on projects as varied as redefining Keystone Resorts brand image to launching the development of the Ritz Carlton in Beaver Creek.

Over the years, Jerry has developed the capability to capture just the right look and feel for a variety of clients currently ranging from Stetson apparel, to Cessna Citation Jets.

Jerry has a degree in graphic design from Rochester Institute of Technology.
