Gary Walker, President/CEO
After nearly 30 years in marketing, there is very little Gary hasn’t seen. Having watched marketing trends come and go, he offers a unique perspective in terms of what works and what works well. This knowledge, paired with keen business acumen has made him a highly sought after and very valuable strategic planning resource for clients of all sizes across a wide range of consumer and business-to-business accounts. He has led teams responsible for breakthrough advertising and marketing campaigns for clients in the telecommunications, banking, health care, senior living, insurance, economic development, manufacturing and food science industries.

Aside from his marketing skills, Gary has a great eye for talent and an entrepreneurial spirit and has assembled a strong team, growing Walker to one of the largest firms in the Southeast.

A recognized thought leader in the field of marketing communications, Gary has shared his insight and expertise in numerous trade articles and as a guest lecturer at several schools of business. He is the former president of the Business Marketing Association of the Carolinas and a member of the American Advertising Federation and American Association of Advertising Agencies’ Diamond Forum. Today, Gary is seated on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, Foundation for the Carolinas, Catawba College Business Advisory and actively provides his clients wisdom and guidance to their business challenges.
John Rehkop, VP Marketing Services
John provides leadership and oversight in the areas of Digital, Research and Analytics. His depth of experience in data-driven marketing solutions ensures communications approaches are strategically sound, statistically valid and metric-based. His advocacy of 360-degree thinking is what often provides the most value to Walker clients.

His commitment to distinguishing Walker Marketing clients’ from the masses is achieved through consistently challenging conventional wisdom and applying results-focused, critical thinking to every initiative. This approach has lead to several highly successful campaigns for clients in fiercely competitive sectors, including health care, financial services and information technology.
Erin Tetrault, Vice President of Client Services
As the vice president of client services, Erin provides leadership and vision to the account service department, develops best practices and supervises the agency’s senior living and health care accounts. Her oversight ensures that all disciplines within the agency are working together harmoniously to attain client and company goals.

Erin has spent over a decade devising marketing strategies and solutions, managing integrated marketing communications programs and creating results for her clients. Her leadership has led to the successful implementation of programs across a wide range of categories, including health care, manufacturing, hospitality and professional services. With both agency and corporate experience, Erin’s former clients include national brands such as Marriott, International Paper and Carolinas Healthcare System.
Barry Campbell, Creative Director
An exceptionally talented and award-winning creative professional, Barry oversees all of Walker's creative capabilities. With more than 19 years of experience spearheading the creative efforts for many high-profile companies, Barry is able to offer results-oriented creative solutions to the challenges faced by national and international clients in most any sector. His specialties include concept development, photo illustration and identity development, with deep expertise in the business-to-business, retail and service industries.
Jennifer Garber, Senior Account Supervisor
Jennifer brings a wealth of public relations experience, including media relations, publicity campaigns, social media, issues management and crisis communications.

For over a decade, Jennifer has provided strategic counsel to physician practices and managed numerous publicity and education campaigns for health related non-profit organizations including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Geriatrics Society and International Society for Stem Cell Research. She has also assisted pharmaceutical companies including Watson Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline and Baxter Healthcare navigate marketing efforts surrounding clinical trials, the FDA approval process and the launch of new products and services.

One of her greatest accomplishments was providing public relations support as part of an integrated communications campaign for Methodist Sports Medicine / The Orthopedic Specialists in Indianapolis and the official team physicians for the Indianapolis Colts. The campaign resulted in a double-digit increase in patients and surgeries over a three-year period and received a 2010 Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Award of Excellence.
