Dan St. John, CEO
Dan started his advertising career in public relations at The William Cook Agency, one of the premier agencies in the Southeast at the time. He soon switched to the advertising side of the agency, and by the end of his 12 years there, was responsible for managing some of the agency’s largest and most high-profile accounts. In 1984, Dan decided it was time for an even bigger challenge and started his own agency with William Robinson.

The new venture, Robinson & St. John, recorded $300,000 in billings in its first year and grew to be an $18 million agency by 1993.That year, Dan bought his partner’s ownership in the agency and later renamed it St. John & Partners. Dan continues to play an important role in helping our clients succeed and has guided SJ&P to steady and consistent growth.
Jeff McCurry, President COO
Jeff wears many hats at SJ&P, which is good, because he’s fair-skinned and sunburns easily. He supervises the agency’s new business efforts and is responsible for helping launch brands such as Zaxby’s and Clearwire and is now putting that experience to work for Smoothie King. Jeff has over 15 years of brand-building experience for clients such as Procter & Gamble, Chrysler and Merrill Lynch. He’s a graduate of The Ohio State University, which is naturally the hat he’s proudest to wear.
Robert Baker, EVP CFO
Some people are good with numbers. Robert is great. After getting his BA in finance from Emory University, he actually started his career as a bank examiner and financial analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He joined St. John & Partners (then, Robinson & St. John) in 1987 as chief financial officer and is instrumental in developing compensation plans tailored to clients’ needs. He has also earned the trust of clients by safeguarding their media investments. In short, you can count on Robert. We do.
Todd Lynch, VP PR Director
As captain and an all-conference soccer player for Loyola of Chicago, Todd learned a thing or two about competition. It has served him well in leveraging a broad range of experiences to bolster clients’ businesses. He has provided strategic public relations counsel to clients that include Sprint Nextel, McDonald’s, ACUVUE, Winn-Dixie, Clearwire, Smoothie King, Zaxby’s and the Jacksonville Jaguars. His experience provides clients insightful, targeted solutions to employee communications, crisis communications, community outreach programs and image management. We know he’s good because every time he gets off the phone with a client, he yells, “Goooooooooooooal!”
Lisa Beatty, VP Cultural Strategist
Change agent. Brand builder. Trend tracker. Poet. Mom. Just a few words to describe our 14-year agency veteran and leader of the VISTAKON/Johnson & Johnson Vision Care team. Lisa’s expertise in B2B and B2C marketing has enabled her to lead clients like Bank of America, Capital One, Florida Power & Light, American Express and CSX to explore new avenues of communication both inside and outside their organizations. Her experience in employee communications and public relations blends nicely with her street-learned advertising insight to produce a holistic perspective on how companies need to think and act differently today in order to connect and stay connected with all their stakeholders. And when she’s not connecting clients to customers, she’s creating poetry to help art lovers connect more powerfully with her husband’s abstract paintings.
