Steve McCall, President, Business Leadership
Steve graduated from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, in the spring of 1987, with no clear sense of direction, but a sneaking suspicion that it was out there somewhere, and he’d better get moving. So in the fall of 1987, he came to New York City to experience the Big Apple. 25 years later, he’s pretty sure he’s here to stay.

Steve began his advertising career at Backer & Spielvogel, working on the Miller Brewing Company brands like Miller Lite and Genuine Draft. From there he moved onto the Phillips/Magnavox Consumer Electronics account, managing campaigns that included the Smothers Brothers and John Cleese of Monty Python fame.

In 1991, he moved to Lintas (which over the span of 12 years merged with Ammirati & Puris, then LOWE, then Bozell –whew!). During that time, Steve managed a variety of accounts and categories – including toys (LEGO), fast food (Burger King), packaged goods (Hellmann’s & Wishbone), soft drinks (Diet Coke & Mad River Teas) beer (Molson, Labatts, Foster’s, Dos Equis, Rolling Rock), and financial services (Aetna Retirement Services and HSBC). In 2003, Steve joined Berlin Cameron where he managed the Coca-Cola Classic account, along with Silk Soy Milk, Nestea Cool, and Boost Mobile, while also looking after the account management department. In February 2007, Steve joined kbs+ to lead a variety of top accounts and to run the day-to-day operations of the account management department. His 22 years of experience in advertising, commitment to relationship and business building inspires his teams, and clients alike, daily.

He lives in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, with his wife, Jennifer, and twin sons, Jack and Tom. His hobbies (time permitting) include running, playing guitar and watching the Yankees with his boys.
