Todd Bolin, President/CEO
Todd grew up in the agency business. He was writing ad copy long before he received his MBA from Duke. In 1990, Todd took over the reins of the Bolin agency. Under his leadership, the company has evolved into an organization of renewed relevance and contemporary stature. Todd has played a role on virtually every account, including Wilsonart, The Island of Dominica, Tennant, and Radisson.
He has played an integral part in the development of Tribe Global, an international network of independent marketing agency resources. He is also actively engaged in both the industry and the community, including stints as the board chair of the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, board member of the Children’s Miracle Network and board chair of the Freshwater Society. He was also featured in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “40 under 40” list of emerging business leaders.
Mike Kraabel, VP-Creative & User Experience
Mike is a Creative Director who writes, designs, strategizes, codes, films, and more. He is a truly versatile talent who believes in big creative ideas. Mike has designed and implemented programs for some of the nation’s most recognizable brands, including Target Corporation, Ecolab, Microsoft, Best Buy, 3M, Unilever, Cargill, National Marrow Donor Program, and National Endowment for the Arts. An early pioneer of interactive marketing and PR, Mike has been devising digital communications programs for companies for more than 16 years. His programs have consistently won recognition among peers and national press. In the past few years, Mike has become a much respected guest lecturer in the academic environment, at industry conferences and has served as an advisor to various marketing organizations across the country. Off the clock (really, when is that?), Mike enjoys polishing up his 1978 Ford F150, taking care of Steve, the neighborhood stray cat, and finding any excuse to put his Canon 5D still/movie camera into action.
Nathan Eide, Director of Emerging Media
Nathan is a digital strategist and seasoned marketing professional who achieves business results for his clients by driving customer behavior through a comprehensive strategy focusing on the integration of content, campaigns, and conversions. He is an expert in the various digital tactics involved in the emerging media world, including social media, email, paid media, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), customer relationship management (CRM), and a host of other confusing acronyms. With a breadth of experience, including time on the agency side as well as in-house at Fortune 500, digital start-ups, and small businesses, Nathan has worked with brands such as BMW, 3M, Microsoft, Valspar, Best Buy, and Deluxe Corporation.
He has also worked with Coca-Cola, Lufthansa, UnitedHealth Group, Dell, the PGA Tour, Oracle, Canon, Honeywell, Citrix, Agilent Technologies and Thomson Reuters and was a credentialed member of the NHL media for the past five years. In addition, Nathan serves President of the Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA) for the 2014-2016 term. Along with his abundant knowledge of emerging media and marketing, Nathan also functions as Bolin’s resident “random factoid” guy—how he collects these facts remains a much discussed mystery around the Bolin office. In his copious free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their precocious daughter, Ingrid—whom he adores.
