Peter Stringham, Chairman and CEO Young & Rubicam Brands
Peter Stringham is CEO of Young & Rubicam Brands, a collaborative network of marketing communications companies that include Y&R, Burson-Marsteller, Wunderman, Landor, Cohn & Wolfe, VML, Sudler & Hennessey, and The Bravo Group, among others. He was named to the post in February 2007.

Peter was previously at HSBC, where he was responsible for global marketing and brand development. Under his leadership, the highly successful proposition of HSBC as “The world’s local bank,” took root. During his tenure, the value of the HSBC brand grew from less than $1 billion to $11.62 billion in value. HSBC was also recognized in the industry for its brand building initiatives as the Best Consumer Campaign at the Money Marketing Awards, for its television creative at the Cannes Advertising Festival and at the Retail Banker Awards for Advertising and Brand Strategy of the Year in 2005 and for Marketing Strategy of the Year in 2006.

For Peter, his appointment as CEO has brought him back to a company he knows well. Prior to HSBC, he served as Chairman and CEO of Y&R North America for three years. His tenure was marked by strong profitability, robust new business, and internationally recognized creative work.

A Canadian national, Peter joined Y&R from BBDO Canada, where he spent five years as President and CEO and a member of the Board of BBDO North America. During his tenure, the company grew and held its position as Canada’s largest agency. It became the nation’s most creatively awarded agency and was named Agency of the Year four times.

Peter began his marketing career in the 1970’s as a copywriter, eventually becoming creative director. He moved into management as managing director of a local Canadian agency, Gordon Hill Advertising, then left to found his own agency, Stringham & Grant Tandy. Six years later S> was sold to Baker Lovick of Vancouver, the shop which ultimately became BBDO Canada under Peter’s leadership.

Throughout his career, Peter has been recognized for his achievements. Among other awards he was named Most Influential Person in Advertising by Marketing Magazine in Canada, Internationalist of the Year by Internationalist Magazine in Europe, Marketing Director of the Year by Daily Telegraph Awards in the UK, and Chief Marketing Officer of the Year by Financial Services Forum in the UK.

Aviva Ebstein – Director of Corporate Communications

As Director of Corporate Communications, Aviva Ebstein oversees Y&R’s internal and external communications globally.

Aviva has been with Y&R for over 20 years and has worked in every facet of the Communications department. Her experience includes strategic counseling, media relations, internal communications, investor relations, event planning, crisis communications, corporate literature and advertising, as well as website development.

Prior to Y&R, Aviva spent a couple of years as a publicist in the publishing and music industries.
Peter Law-Gisiko, Chief Financial Officer
Peter Law-Gisiko is worldwide Chief Financial Officer of Young & Rubicam Brands and operational CFO for Y&R Advertising and Wunderman.
He has extensive experience in the marketing services arena having joined WPP Group plc in 1987, where he served as financial controller for Asia Pacific and Latin America and soon afterwards as Deputy Group Finance Director.

Following the acquisition of the Ogilvy Group Inc. by WPP Group plc, in 1990, he took on the position of Finance Director of Ogilvy Advertising in France. In 1996 he took on the job of CFO of Ogilvy One North America, a position he held until 1997 when he left to join Nelson Communications Inc, the leading private healthcare marketing company in the world, as Executive Vice President, Secretary and Chief Financial Officer.

At Nelson Communications he managed the successful registration and subsequent sale of the business to Publicis, after which he joined the Y&R Group.

Peter started his career at KPMG in London where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and later joined PepsiCo Inc where during seven years he held at different times the positions of European controller, planning director and finance director.

Bill Manfredi is responsible for leading a worldwide human resources capability that supports the operational and strategic needs of Wunderman and Y&R. He has a strong sense of what a client needs and therefore is able to match the best people in the business, with the accounts that enable both to thrive. He also understands what the best talent looks for in an employer today. With his team at Global Talent Management, he has created and oversees an industry leading talent management system that fosters employee growth and the building of global careers. Wunderman University, the only employer-based learning program to win an award from the DMA, is just part of the offering.

Bill has amassed the sort of broad-based experience that is essential for running a global human resources operation. As Global Human Resources V.P. at Ernst & Young Consulting, he built a global resource function to support the company's US investment in worldwide member firms, created human resource global shared services and provided the infrastructure and strategic support in all new global ventures.
