As part of the 10-week professional fellowship program, the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) complements real-world work experience with agency specific training opportunities to further fuel growth and development within its 100+ intern class. In addition to in-person seminars in larger markets, MAIP introduced a virtual webinar series in 2013 to provide national training for all markets. Building off the success of this model, the 4A’s will further enhance the training provided to selected interns, creating three separate tracks tailored to the seismic changes in the industry:

  • Creative Technologies

The track will feature up-and-coming creative technologies, such as 3D printers, “wearables,” etc., and they are used/integrated into a campaign, deliver innovative solutions to amplify brand awareness/messaging, evolve classic marketing/advertising techniques, and stand out amidst the competition.

  • Data Analytics: Utilizing Quantifiable Strategies to Fuel Storytelling

In this track, interns will learn best practices from companies leveraging data to their advantage- essentially, learning what data may be relevant, how to extract data points (further validating insights) to craft a brand or advertisement’s message/story, and what media placement/positioning would work best for a brand’s audience.

  • Mobile Marketing: Best Practices/Strategies

In this track, interns will hear from industry executives, clients, and client partners on best practices to leverage mobile technology, ways to integrate a smart mobile strategy, and how to reach/target specific audiences in the mobile space.

Each track will be comprised of 10 different sessions divided into two parts:

  • Training in a Tangible Skill-Set: Language/Coding Training (5 training sessions)
  • Application of Skill-Set and Best Practice Case Studies (5 Webinars)

Please Note: This series is exclusively for 2014 MAIP Interns.
