Introducing the 4A's Kansas City Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS)

The 4A's Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS) has been known as the top industry program for training the best and brightest young agency professionals in the business. We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the inaugural KC IAAS program.

The 4A's Kansas City IAAS is committed to helping young advertising professionals in the KC marketplace grab hold of excellence and take it back to their agencies and their clients. You've got some great young talent at your agency. But chances are they are deeply engrossed in their area of expertise. Tunnel vision just doesn't work in our 360-world; they have to be in tune with all aspects of the business, from the digital space to branding, to new business to creative to media [and more!].

The faculty, judges and mentors are recruited from leading area agencies as well as outside the marketplace. Under the guidance of these seasoned veterans, IAAS is the perfect vehicle for your next generation of advertising leaders to learn the ins and outs of:

• The digital and social media landscape
• Positioning and branding
• ROI, meaningful metrics and data mining
• Creative brief writing and creative development
• Understanding the consumer
• New business
• Presentation skills.

Students develop their skills by working on an actual client assignment in a team environment. Garmin’s VIRB action camera is the client for this year's program. VIRB is the new rugged camera by Garmin. The brand enters the crowded market with a waterproof sports camera that features a built-in display, a wide-angle lens and can record 1080p video for up to three hours.

From January 23 to May 1, students of the IAAS will meet weekly in this intensive, after-workday exercise that will begin with intelligently grounded business understanding and will end with strategically smart creative solutions to Garmin brand's business challenge.

Who Should Attend
Beneficial to all agency disciplines, the Institute is designed for junior professionals with one to five years' experience. We particularly encourage creatives to participate in the program.

The Cost
The cost is $2,000 per person. (Registration is available to both 4A's members and non 4A's members)
