John Patroulis, Chief Creative Officer
JJohn joined BBH New York as CCO in August of 2011. Starting at TBWA/Chiat/Day in New York and San Francisco, John worked for several years on global and national accounts including adidas, Nextel, Absolut, Samsonite, Fox Sports, Barnes & Noble, and Motorola. For his efforts, John earned top creative honors for everything from viral films to interactive billboards to global TV campaigns. In 2007, he left to help launch T.A.G., and within a year was recognized for his work on the groundbreaking Halo 3 “Believe” campaign, which became the most awarded integrated campaign of the decade. This and other content-driven successes led John and his partners to launch agencytwofifteen in 2010 - and one year later, their work on Xbox and the social-media-driven launch of the Kin phone led it to be named to Creativity’s “A-List”, placing agencytwofifteen among the twelve most creative agencies in the world. Over the course of his fourteen-year career, John has received every top international creative honor, including the One Show Best in Show, Grand Clio, The Grandy, and the Cannes Grand Prix, which he has won twice.
Emma Cookson, Chairman
Emma has been an integral part of the BBH family for 18 years. In 1999, she moved from London to New York as part of the 4-person management team that launched BBH New York. In the US, she initially took the role of Director of Strategic Planning and helped grow the agency into the shop it is today. Most recently, Emma was named Chairman of BBH New York. In this role, she continues to advance the strategic vision for the global accounts and broaden business development for the New York office, including personal involvement in accounts such as Unilever and British Airways. She’s been named an Ad Age "Women to Watch" and she’s earned the Advertising Women of New York’s "Changing the Game" award for her work on Vaseline. She sits on the board of the IAB Agency Advisory Board and was most recently recognized as one of Ad Age’s 100 Most Influential Women in Advertising.
Sarah Watson, Chief Strategy Officer
Sarah has been part of BBH for the last decade. Starting out on various Europe-wide Unilever brands and BBH’s flagship Levi’s account, she became Head of International Planning in 2007, based out of BBH London. In 2009 she returned to DDB London (where she began her career) to lead the agency’s large integrated strategy department across all aspects of traditional, digital and direct business. She returned to BBH in 2011, but this time in New York as Chief Strategy Officer. Sarah oversees the strategy team across the whole business, most recently working especially closely with the Google Chrome team.
