David Lane is chief executive officer and founding co-partner of LevLane Advertising, Inc., one of the Philadelphia area’s foremost marketing communications agencies. Since its inception in 1984, LevLane has helped guide the marketing fortunes of such successful brands as KFC, Taco Bell, Rita’s Water Ice, Sunoco, Subaru, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Midas, SunGard, Beneficial Bank, Tenet HealthSystem, Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation and many others throughout the region. To that effort, David has brought his trademark energy and guiding hand, as well as a spirit of confidence that permeates the culture at LevLane.

David Lane’s dedication to the principles of marketing and brand building is matched by his career-long commitment to philanthropy and community service.

During his 1969-83 tenure at Elkman Advertising, while presiding over that agency’s regional McDonald’s account, David was instrumental in the early planning and implementation of the nation’s first Ronald McDonald House which opened in Philadelphia in 1972. David managed McDonald Regional Co-ops in Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Wilkes Barre/Scranton, New York (Big Apple), Buffalo, Syracuse/Utica and Virginia Beach.

It is a priority of David’s to give back to the advertising industry, helping to shape its standards and ethics by taking a leadership role in major professional organizations.

He is a member of the Board of Governors and past chairman of the Philadelphia Council of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA), his industry’s signature professional body, and also serves on the AAAA Eastern Regional Council. He is a charter member and past president of the Marketing and Advertising Global Network (MAGNET), and spearheaded the transformation of that 40-agency alliance from a domestic organization to an international one.

David is also an active board member of the Philadelphia Advertising Club. He is an oft-quoted source in the trade press who is sought out for his unique perspective on industry conditions and trends.

David’s lifelong interest in the preservation of our natural resources is expressed through his membership in Penn Future, Pennsylvania’s most effective environmental advocacy group. After serving on its Board of Directors since 2003, he was recently elected Board Chair.

Bruce is on a mission that has spanned the better part of 30 years.

He wants people to feel the love because brands that don’t get love don’t get to become stronger brands.

Throughout his 21 years as partner and creative force behind LevLane, the advertising agency he co-founded, Bruce has brought his message and vision to a vast and varied audience. KFC, Midas, Comcast, Sovereign Bank, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Tenet HealthSystems, The Philadelphia Zoo, Philadelphia Corporation for Aging and the Philadelphia Recycling Office are just a handful of brands that have been inspired to look inward and project outward in ways that have won them more followers and won LevLane numerous national and international awards along the way*.

Bruce’s evangelistic zeal also extends to the classroom. He mentors Philadelphia’s brightest up-and-comers each year as part of the AAAA Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS) and serves as adjunct professor at Temple University – where the students would LOVE to come work for Bruce when they graduate, such is his infectious delivery of even the basic tenets of advertising.

And the word of Bruce is not just talk, either. It’s action of the highest kind in the form of donated time and services to non-profit organizations including the American Red Cross, Children’s Advocacy Center, Heart of Advertising, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Philadelphians Concerned About Housing, Talk, Inc., The Arthur Ashe Foundation and Philly Meals on Wheels.

Bruce has also served tirelessly on the boards of the Philadelphia Advertising Club and the Philadelphia Council of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAA).

Surely the well must one day run dry.

In the meantime, whether a client, employee, colleague, acquaintance, waitperson, doorman, family, friend or foe – there still seems to be plenty of love to go around.

Tony joined LevLane’s media department right out of college, and began his non-stop march up the ladder. His career steps at the Agency took him through media research, buying and planning for several accounts, including regional assignments on KFC and Midas Mufflers. In 1995 as a Media Supervisor, Tony was dispatched to establish LevLane’s first field office in Tampa, Florida with a staff of five. From the Florida assignment and after a brief stint in New York at a Draft agency, Tony was recruited back to LevLane to head the Media Services department in Philadelphia, which he has done since 1998.

Although working on a variety of client assignments both B2C and B2B, it’s the discipline and mastery of working within the QSR category that affords Tony the ability to lead clients to communication channels that build brand and drive sales traffic. LevLane’s media planning and buying success in the QSR category has won formal recognition from YUM Brands clients KFC and Taco Bell.

Tony’s leadership of the department has made sure that the resources, systems, and staff talent has adapted to the quickly changing media landscape. He’s at the helm navigating the shifting seas of media and delivering razor-sharp plans that integrate the best that on-line, search, and traditional media has to offer. Brilliant plans and flawless execution is what Tony teaches and demands.
