Minesh Parikh, Chief Executive Officer
Minesh Parikh has more than 12 years of experience developing strategic communications for nonprofits. He specializes in account management, marketing planning, and media planning and buying. Minesh develops and implements integrated marketing programs that produce maximum impact. He holds a B.A. in marketing from Purdue University.
Donna Van De Water, Chief Operating Officer
In addition to her COO responsibilities, Donna Van De Water also leads the agency's research and planning team. With nearly 25 years of marketing experience, she knows what it takes to succeed in a crowded and complex marketplace. She’s worked with hundreds of organizations, including colleges and universities, arts and cultural institutions, advocacy organizations, and professional associations.

Donna has a Ph.D. in psychology from Loyola University of Chicago, where she also taught for 10 years. She holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where she served as a faculty member teaching research methods in marketing.
Peter Barber, EVP, Business & Account Development
A nationally recognized marketing professional, Peter has nearly 30 years of leadership at global agencies including DDB, Bozell, and Leo Burnett. As Lipman Hearne’s business development leader, he’s a marketer’s marketer: bringing new clients to our agency and ensuring their success. Peter has his BA in Journalism from Drake University.
Jeremy Ryan, EVP, Creative & Digital Services
Jeremy Ryan is an award-winning digital and creative executive with expertise in strategic planning and execution of multichannel initiatives to strengthen market presence and gather audience engagement. He brings with him a tremendous amount of leadership experience, including past work with Accenture and Schawk! Jeremy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Muhlenberg College.
Alexia Koelling, EVP, Consulting & Account Management
Alexia leads the consulting team at Lipman Hearne, drawing from her experience as a multi-award-winning communications associate director, project and stewardship manager, and media and overall strategist for well-known national corporate brands, including Kraft and P&G. Alexia is a graduate of the University of Chicago.
Sara Stern, EVP, Philanthropic Marketing
Sara Stern leads the philanthropic marketing team at Lipman Hearne, which has successfully helped clients raise over $24 billion through effective fundraising communications efforts. Prior to joining us Sara worked with Rush University Medical Center, the Alzheimer’s Association, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Burson-Marsteller.

Sara has lectured on integrated marketing communications for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Academic Impressions, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and Development Dialogues. Sara received her A.B. in Government from Smith College.
Robert Moore, Sr. Consultant, CEO Emeritus
Rob Moore has more than 25 years of experience providing marketing communications counsel for nonprofit organizations. Rob is a frequent presenter at national conferences and a leading contributor to industry periodicals including CASE Currents, Change, Advancing Philanthropy, and Trusteeship. His first book on higher education branding – "The Real U: Building Brands That Resonate with Students, Faculty, Staff, and Donors" – was published by CASE in 2010. He has also written "Net Proceeds: Increased Revenue From Enrollment & Advancement-Guaranteed!" with Lipman Hearne's chairman, Tom Abrahamson.

Rob holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz; an M.A. from the University of Idaho; and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
