He maintains involvement in many aspects of the agency’s services, including branding, strategic counsel, public relations and new business initiatives.

Steve is devoted to LGA’s clients and understands that the company’s most valuable assets are the people who contribute to making LGA a special place to work. He has received the Charlotte Ad Club’s highest honor, the Silver Medal Award, and the Public Relations Society of America’s Infinity Award for representing the highest standards of character, career and service. Charlotte Magazine has listed Steve as one of Charlotte’s 50 most influential leaders.

Throughout his professional career, Steve has remained deeply involved in his community and region. He currently serves on the boards of Teach for America, The Salvation Army, Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, OrthoCarolina Research Foundation, Charlotte Merchants Foundation, Charlotte Sports Commission and Charlotte Collegiate Football. He led LGA’s efforts to assist Charlotte in its successful bid to host the 2012 Democratic National Convention. He also serves as vice chair for the PGA TOUR’s Wells Fargo Championship.

Steve is an ex-officio chairman of the North Carolina Partnership for Economic Development, past chairman of the 16-county Charlotte Regional Partnership, founding member and vice chair of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Foundation and former executive board member of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.

With more than 25 years in brand development and advertising, Peggy Brookhouse oversees all facets of the agency’s business, from advertising to public relations to digital. She has led scores of brand articulation sessions to develop brand platforms that are strategic, relevant, differentiating and user-friendly for business-to-business, business-to-consumer and nonprofit clients. Her passion, strategic counsel and results-oriented mindset have helped clients grow their stature and bottom line.

In 2011, Peggy led the pitch that resulted in LGA being awarded the North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development account. She also oversaw the team that assisted Charlotte in its successful bid to host the 2012 Democratic National Convention. In 2009, Peggy led a regional brand extension campaign for BB&T, cementing the bank’s leadership position in the financial services industry. Her repositioning of North Carolina State University helped the institution establish a bold presence, capturing the attention of students, parents and stakeholders. Peggy also has led a number of initiatives to support economic development in Charlotte. One of her accomplishments included steering the Charlotte USA brand initiative and campaign, in which she built consensus among leaders from surrounding counties and articulated a unified brand for the region. These efforts heightened perceptions of Charlotte and attracted business investors and relocation prospects to the area.

An integral part of the business community, Peggy was one of 25 businesswomen honored at the Charlotte Business Journal’s 11th Annual Women in Business Achievement Awards and was the 2011 recipient of the American Advertising Federation of Charlotte’s Silver Medal Award.
