Jeff Kling, Chief Creative Officer
His plans to rebuild the Death Star on temporary hold, this chief creative officer of Fallon Worldwide hopes: 1. His ambient dislike of advertising has bettered his own work; and 2. That no one will mind his not having fulfilled his imagined potential as a world-champion surfer.

Jeff created Dos Equis's "The Most Interesting Man in the World," rubber-stamped Nike's "Write the Future" campaign and authored the Miller High Life manifesto and campaign that still forms the playbook for many strategists, agencies, and brands. Recently he gave Arby's "The Meats," bade fond farewell to Arby's nemesis Jon Stewart, helped America get its billions back, and helped Loctite win advertising's 2014 Super Bowl.

In his fourteen-hundred thirty-seven-thousand years in the business, Kling has quarterbacked national and global work for Heineken, Coca-Cola, Jaguar, EA, Nokia, Volvo, Honda, The Eye Film Institute Netherlands, Miller Genuine Draft, ESPN, Clearasil, Gore-Tex and many, many more--and for a host of dead dot-comes, for whose busted first-wave bubble he is personally responsible. Father to two semi-Austrian daughters who karate-kick the bejeezus out of every day and tell him no in three languages, he is possibly the luckiest bastard alive.
Mike Buchner, Chief Executive Officer
Mike joined Fallon in 1984 after graduating from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism with a master's degree in Advertising. During his tenure at Fallon, Mike has played many roles, including director of account management, general manager, and chief operating officer. He's touched almost every piece of business that Fallon has ever had, but is most excited about the work that has yet to be created by this agency.
Chris Lawrence, Chief Marketing Officer
Born with the "responsibility gene," Account Management came naturally to Chris Lawrence. He joined Fallon as an account executive in 1998 and grew through the ranks to be named director of account management in 2011. By 2016, he was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer and now leads Fallon's New Business department. With a background in journalism, Chris has a knack for digging deep into all aspects of a client's business and using his skills as a thinker, collaborator, and storyteller to help rewrite the history for brands across the globe, including Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Nordstrom, Loctite, and H&R Block.

In addition to heading New Business, Chris plays a senior leadership role on several businesses. His success comes from having a heart for people, a gut for bravery, and the muscle for hard work. A strong karaoke repertoire and good navigation skills have proven invaluable, too. While he's spent the better half of his 20+-year career with Fallon, Chris also served as the Senior Director of Marketing and Strategy at Best Buy and has held management roles at other Minneapolis creative agencies.

A native of Rochester, Minnesota, Chris is married to a Minneapolis entrepreneur who owns and runs a successful retail store. They have two young boys -ages 10 and 8- who are crazy about sports, music, Minecraft, Legos and The Nightly News with Brian Williams. In addition to helping coach his sons' teams, Chris enjoys tennis, golf, photography, music, travel, and keeping an eye and ear on pop culture.
Julianna Simon, Director of Account Planning
Julianna joined Fallon in 2010. Since then, she's been hopping planes to lead strategy for Purina in Latin America and the U.S., finding money in taxes for H&R Block, and putting her sweet tooth to work for Talenti Gelato, Truvia and Larabar. She spends summer weekends in her vegetable garden and has cookbooks on her nightstand as reading material.
Rocky Novak, Managing Director
As managing director, Rocky oversees Fallon's daily operations, striving to create an environment that inspires and enables world-class creativity. Building a flexible agency structure that relies on equal parts collaboration and craft, Rocky seeks to prove that "fast" and "great" are not mutually exclusive. He believes in mind-set over process, optimism in the face of uncertainty, and that empowered talent is a force to be reckoned with. He also holds a bone-deep belief that our business should be fun, dammit.
Mandana Mellano, Chief Media Officer
Mandana oversees the dynamic and growing media practice at Fallon and leads a culture that values creativity and innovation in media.

Prior to Fallon, Mandana held senior level positions with Neo@Ogilvy, Mindshare + MEC, and Kastner & Partners, leading media strategy, planning and buying for some of the most iconic global brands such as Activision (Call of Duty and Skylanders), Red Bull, Porsche, and Cisco among others. With over 15 years of experience, she has been the strategic media force behind many high-profile brand platform launches.

With a solid career in media and having delivered positive business results for some of the most complex organizations in the world, Mandana strives to build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and transparency.

Mandana holds an M.A. from USC’s Annenberg School of Communications and has two B.A.s from UC Riverside in Sociology and Latin American Literature.
Dawn Lamm, Chief Financial Officer
Dawn has played a key role in the strategic direction of Fallon for the past 14 years and leads the financial operation of the Minneapolis office. She believes that solid, reliable financial performance is vital not only to Fallon, but to our clients as well. Prior to working at Fallon, Dawn worked at McGladrey & Pullen, a National Public Accounting Firm. She is a CPA and is active in AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
Julie McBride, Director of Talent and Communications
Julie's focus is on the heart and soul of the agency -- it's people. She is driven to recruit world-class talent and nurture an environment in which each and every person can do groundbreaking work. She also oversees communications, helping to shape and maintain the image of the agency both inside and outside its halls.

Julie joined Fallon in 1999 and spent her first 10 years in Account Management leading brand development for a variety of clients. She spearheaded activities for the Effie-winning "Stay Smart" campaign, helped Citigroup drive its credit card and retail banking business, developed an online entertainment platform for Nordstrom and worked to rejuvenate the 50+-year-old iconic Holiday Inn brand.

Having grown up at Fallon, Julie knows firsthand how its culture sets it apart. She is delighted that through her work she gets to play a role in maintaining its specialness.

Julie is a Minnesota native with degrees in Communication and Political Science from Augsburg College. She spends most of her free time with her husband and two kids, running from one activity to the next. She's also a music junkie who loves to cook and is envious of people who exercise regularly.
