Kevin Wertz, CEO
Kevin brings more than 21 years of experience – over half with Campbell Ewald – and a proven track record in uncovering consumer insights and developing brand strategies. As CEO, he has spearheaded the agency’s Open Architecture approach to ingraining internal and external collaboration into our agency culture, including desiloing internal disciplines and developing effective processes with partners, vendors, and clients.

Under his leadership, Campbell Ewald has won a number of high-profile accounts as well as expanded the agency’s role on many existing clients. Prior to joining Campbell Ewald, Kevin’s experience includes a number of other signature accounts, including Progressive Insurance, PNC Bank, AAA, Expedia, LendingTree (RealEstate.com) and Michelin.
Kari Shimmel, Chief Strategy Officer
With a dual background in creative and planning, and specialties in digital and CRM, Kari brings more than 18 years of experience. She’s the driving force and architect behind the agency’s methodology to consumer experience journey mapping practice, CXJM. And it was her unique approach to turning insights into action that helped her launch Campbell Ewald’s new experience consulting practice arm, CE/CX.

Kari lives to understand people’s unique experiences and is fixated on finding meaningful ways brands can impact them. Over her career she’s brought her experience insights to a wide variety of industries including financial services (Mutual of Omaha, USAA, Lending Tree), government (Empire State Development, Department of Treasury), automotive (OnStar, Harley-Davidson, Cadillac), retail (ASICS, Dole, Munchkin, Snuggle), and franchise (Chick-fil-A, MilkPEP).

Kari serves on the 4A’s CX Council as an executive committee member and is co-chair of the CX + Brand Committee.
Clarence Bradley, Co-Chief Creative Officer
Clarence sees himself as a “Hustler of Culture,” a lyric borrowed from Chuck D of Public Enemy. He’s spent the last 20+ years working closely with brands helping them grow and evolve their voice to not only stay relevant with culture but become authentic amplifiers.

A graduate of Clark Atlanta University and Miami Ad School, his career has spanned agencies like Wieden+Kennedy, Apple, BBDO, The Martin Agency and VaynerMedia. He’s created innovative, multichannel marketing communications for brands like SONY, Comcast, AT&T, Verizon and others and comes with international award show acclaim. Clarence’s ability to help brands tell effective and lasting stories is where he shines.
Silmo Bonomi, Co-Chief Creative Officer
Silmo’s mission is to shatter stereotyped advertising by creating inclusive, diverse, unbiased, culturally relevant work that truly represents modern culture and the changemakers shaping it. He comes to Campbell Ewald from VMLY&R New York and Y&R São Paulo, where his work earned international recognition at Cannes, D&AD, the One Show, the Clios and the Effies. Silmo has worked on brands including New Balance, United Nations, AMC Networks, Netflix and Amazon, among others.

Silmo has a healthy obsession with crafts and codes and how they intersect to deliver inclusive, unbiased, culturally relevant work helping to transform businesses and brands. He brings an expertise in digital that helps to drive audience engagement and revenue growth for businesses across industries.
Jamie Rubin, SVP Managing Director Media
With 20 years of experience, Jamie leads our agency-wide media discipline to overcome marketing challenges through collaboration, creativity and measurable outcomes. Jamie’s media approach has helped evolve the agency offering, especially through the integration of media with creative, and in bringing innovation to our media buys and partnerships. Prior to advertising, Jamie worked in finance. Jamie will provide oversight for the media planning, buying and analytics on your account, guiding the go-to-market strategies and campaign KPIs.
Jari Auger, Chief Financial Officer
Jari has more than 25 years of corporate financial leadership and management experience. She is a leader in the areas of financial management, budget development and analysis, government contract administration, client compensation and contracting, and operational process improvement. Jari joined Campbell Ewald in 1995 and was promoted Finance Director of the agency in 2001, handling all aspects of both corporate financial planning and client compensation. Prior to joining Campbell Ewald, she held accounting and finance positions with Penske Logistics, including Director of Finance and Strategic Planning. Jari has an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Barb Rozman-Stokes, Chief Talent Officer
Officially, Barb leads Campbell Ewald’s talent management team, overseeing employee communications and agency operations. Unofficially, she calls herself Steward of Culture and an Anti-Racist Advocate-In-Training – making it her mission to build a constantly growing culture of belonging and equity. In the last five years, she has helped the agency evolve their ED&I goals and established a real commitment for change. Under Barb’s stewardship, the agency has been recognized and awarded for their D&I programming and representation at all levels for people of color and women has increased year-over-year. In fact, in 2021 Campbell Ewald was named one of Advertising Age's top 15 Best Places to Work!

She works with the 4A’s to lead the Talent Equity Alliance (TEA) – working to create new talent policies and practices that will increase equity & belonging for all people in our industry. As a leader, Barb uses her power for good and pushes for what’s right—not what’s expected or easy. She believes the secret to success is to lead with empathy, learn from your mistakes and help others thrive.
