For more than forty years, the 4A's Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS) program has trained the best and brightest professionals in the business. In fact, the IAAS started in Chicago and many of today's top agency executives here and throughout the world are IAAS graduates.

The 4A’s Chicago IAAS is a high value vehicle for your next generation of advertising leaders to learn the ins and outs of:

Best of all, students develop their skills by working on an actual client challenge in a team environment. This year's client partner is Divvy, Chicago’s Bike Sharing System. Our faculty, judges and mentors, recruited from leading agencies, are all seasoned veterans from their organizations.

We’re proud to partner with Northwestern University’s Medill Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) program. Their academic counsel and close faculty involvement help the Chicago IAAS program achieve the highest level of performance and return on training investment.

The course runs from March 19 – June 4, 2014, culminating with individual "agency" presentations to representatives from Divvy and other judges in a quest to "win" the business. On June 4, the students will be recognized, the winning team announced, and we’ll celebrate success for all. Weekly sessions will be held at hosting agencies and Northwestern University Medill downtown campus (210 S. Clark St., Chicago). All sessions begin at 6 PM and conclude by 9 PM. A typical class starts with a light dinner, features a guest lecture or panel discussion during the first half and individual team work sessions in the second. Who Should Attend
The Institute is designed for junior professionals with one to five years experience. The program is beneficial to ALL agency disciplines, including top young creative, brand planners and digital strategists. Highly curious young professionals who desire a broader perspective and want to make a meaningful impact on a real brand are the best “students”.

How Does the IAAS Benefit Your Agency
After graduating from the Institute, participants will return to work with a better sense of the big picture, an enhanced ability to work in a team environment and a renewed passion for doing excellent work. The purpose of the IAAS is to provide exceptional junior people with the chance to jump-start their careers and increase their contribution to their agencies. It is a high value, cost-effective training program.

The Cost
The cost for the 2014 IAAS program is $1,500 for the first participant from the 4A's member agency, $1,300 for the second and $1,100 for the third or more. The price for non 4A's member is $2,000 per person and $1,800 for each additional enrollment.
