Managing at agencies can be challenging, given the client-driven, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial nature of the business. Although most management challenges cut across gender lines, there are some that disproportionately affect women more than men.

On September 29, Pam Bloore, Co-founder, Filament, Inc. will present this half-day seminar addressing those aspects of the management role that can require extra attention for women to navigate, and will offer tools for becoming aware of and making the most of your strengths, as well as avoiding common management mistakes.

Learn how to:
•   Identify common management approaches––and the strengths and weaknesses of each
•   Avoid common management mistakes that erode your authority
•   Delegate effectively (without feeling guilty)
•   Find an appropriate leadership tone
•   Negotiate and/or say no to clients and internal staff
•   Motivate and inspire employees
•   Give negative feedback
•   Effectively navigate staff personal problems/conflicts
•   Get better control of your day.

Who Should Attend
You should attend the seminar if you:
•   Currently hold a management position and want to achieve more
•   Struggle with finding the right managerial tone
•   Find your current management position draining or frustrating
•   Are looking to get promoted to a more senior leadership position.

About your Seminar Leader
Pam Bloore is an executive management and communication coach, as well as a co-founder of Filament Inc., New York. She has worked with many agencies, including McCann, MRM, The Martin Agency, Leo Burnett, mcgarrybowen and Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, to name a few.

This program’s content comes from Pam’s observations in facilitating numerous group management-training programs, as well as from her experiences in private executive coaching of both men and women.
